Location and the hospitality of the host were excellent.

Location is great if you want to spend a few days in the thermal spa. The weather was pretty cold but the house was well heated and you can regulate the heating of your room separately.

Although there was a bathroom belonging to the room I booked, it was only accessible through a shared living room, and a shared hallway, and there were of course other guests in other rooms of the house. So for a shower, going to the toilet or even brushing your teeth, you need to leave your room, grab what you need and walk to the bathroom through shared spaces... there could be a family in the living room watching TV. I don't think this was mentiond anywere in the description and was a bit of a shock to me personally. There were some other guests in the other rooms of the house and although they were generally quiet, sometimes they were loud and their kids woke me up twice before 8am. The rooms are far from soundproof, so you need decent people to share the house with.
