Vila Iulia

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Iulia. The location is very close to the downtown which made shopping and getting around easy. There are play areas for children, and a beautiful, relaxing outdoor seating area. The place was very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for families

Our stay at Villa Iulia had a few downsides. The bed sheets were old and clearly worn out — it's time to replace them along with other essentials, as they seem overused. There was constant noise due to nearby construction behind the villa during our stay, which made it difficult to relax. Also, the windows are not soundproof, so we could hear all the noise from outside clearly. Unfortunately, these issues affected the overall comfort of our stay.

It was amazing!! Very clean , full of facilities, good prices , the staff were great, they were very understanding and fast. Close to all attractions and quality 100% 🫡

The property was very clean and very warm as we were afraid of being cold with two kids but was actually impressed how nice and warm was there.

I booked the single room for one night while passing Vatra Dornei on the Via Transilvanica trail. The location was good, close to the center and not far away from the trail route. The person greeting me was nice and friendly, offered some guidance and suggestions for things to do in Vatra Dornei.

The room itself felt like a wardrobe, very small and furnished with very old furniture they didn't need but did not get rid off either. Apart from the very small size, the shabby furniture, the bed was just awful as the matress was overused and extremely uncomfortable. This is the minimum you expect in a paid accommodation, a bed ensuring the minimum comfort so that you can rest. This was unfortunately not the case at Vila Iulia and this just shows that the owners don't offer the minimum respect to their customers. Not to say about the bathroom which had broken tiles, unpleasant odor and a shower so tight that you feel stuck. Finally, the cherry on top was the window curtain which was dirty with stains of dead flies, covering a window that was probably never cleaned.
