Wir wurden herzlich empfangen beim Check-In und haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es ist ruhig gelegen, man konnte sich gut entspannen und den Stress vergessen. Kadek und ihr Mann haben uns gut umsorgt und waren immer ansprechbar wenn wir etwas brauchten, haben uns aber gleichzeitig auch Raum für uns gelassen. Das Essen, selbst gekocht, war wirklich sehr gut! Leider waren wir nur ein paar Tage dort, aber das Cottage läd definitiv dazu ein länger zu bleiben vor allem wenn man fern ab der Touristenströme die Insel und ihre Kultur kennenlernen möchte. Wir werden hier definitiv noch einmal einen Stop einplanen bei der nächsten Indonesien Reise.

Das Einzige was wir uns gewünscht hätten, wäre ein Moskitonetz am Bett gewesen, aber es war nicht so dramatisch

Fascinante el lugar, lleno de naturaleza. Los host muy amables siempre pendiente de tu comodidad. Incluso tienen opciones de transporte para tus actividades y restaurante con buena comida y precio.

El alojamiento no tiene la culpa, pero para llegar pasas por muchas curvas y la calle está en mal estado, pero si lo que deseas es estar retirado sin bullicio alguno este es el lugar para ti.

Beautiful Homestay run by family, The host Kadek and his wife are welcoming, friendly , kind and attentive and so is their pet dog. The food prepared by them was good. They also offer lunch/dinner which was delicious. We had dinner there every evening. The place is lovely with a beautiful sunrise view and lush greenery. All rooms have a small patio to sit and enjoy the view . Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the pool was enjoyable. Don't expect luxury, it's simple but has everything you need. The cottage is located near Diamond and Atuh Beach. If you walk slowly it takes about 30 minutes to the beach. The host will show you a shortcut so you can avoid taking a longer route to Diamond beach. . Overall, a lovely stay at Mahendra Cottage.

The road to the place is quite bumpy. The steps leading to the cottage rooms are a bit higher than usual, which might be an issue , for elderly people with knee or joint pains. But other than this , all was good and a lovely experience at Mahendra Cottage 😀

Wunderschöne Unterkunft, ruhig gelegen und mit toller Aussicht über den Dschungel vom Pool aus. Die Besitzer sind immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit - Buchung von Fähren, Fahrern usw. Man kann in 45min zum Strand laufen - wunderschön! Die kleine Hütte ist mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet und die Betten sind super bequem. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und hatten eine wahnsinnig tolle Zeit hier. :) Ganz nah zum Diamond Beach - mit dem Roller ca. 10 Minuten! Bevor alle von der Hauptinsel ankommen, könnt ihr schon dort sein ;) Unser Highlight war Brangus, der absolut tollste Wachhund <3

Nicht gefallen ist nicht der Fall, wir wollen nur darauf hinweisen, dass die Fahrt von und zum Hafen eine Stunde beträgt. Das sollte man mit einkalkulieren. Wenn man zum Beispiel zum Tauchen auf der Insel ist, sollte man näher zum Hafen wohnen. Rollerfahrer sollten aufgrund der steinigen Wege, die man befahren muss, um von der Unterkunft zur Hauptstraße zu gelangen, einigermaßen erfahren sein. :)

This property is the perfect spot to relax and disconnect from the busy life in the city, the food was good and the host was very helpful and always very approachable, the pool was nice and clean I will definitely come back

I wouldn’t say I don’t like it but keep in mind this property is quite far from the touristic places, if you are looking for rest and disconnect this will work in your favor, wifi wasn’t reliable.

•L’extérieur est très joli, avec une belle piscine à débordement. •Le propriétaire est arrangeant et sympathique. •Diamond Beach est accessible à pied en environ 20 minutes. •Plusieurs bons restaurants se trouvent à proximité.

•Emplacement : très isolé, loin de toute attraction sauf Diamond Beach (payante et interdite à la baignade). •Accès : la route est littéralement impraticable, extrêmement compliquée pour y arriver. •Transport : la propriétaire propose des trajets via son entourage à un prix excessif (465k IDR pour 2h, soit presque le double du tarif normal à Bali). Elle a même présenté cela comme une remise… C’est abusif et vraiment pas honnête. J'ai essayé de négocier et de lui dire que c'était pas du tout ça le prix mais elle était fermée et j'étais piégé car sans transports... •Infrastructures : Wi-Fi inexistant Douche inutilisable : soit pas de débit, soit un jet tellement fort qu’il fait mal •Petit déjeuner : très basique et de mauvaise qualité (pain de mie grillé, demi tomate, knacki, œuf brouillé, jus d’orange coupé à l’eau), alors que j’avais choisi l’option la plus copieuse. En résumé : séjour très décevant, rien ne correspond à la note affichée (9/10 !). Je ne recommande pas et je n’y retournerai jamais.
