Mahendra Cottage

Nice cottage, very nice staff. Best pancakes for breakfast we had during our trip in Bali 😊

Diamond Beach is one of the greatest places that you can visit. However, Mahindra Cottage is not the best place to stay. Here is what I experienced during my stay: - Poor internet connection with frequent disruptions. - I paid twice the taxi fare from the harbor to the cottage because Mahendra didn't remember that I had already paid him once when I arrived. - The food's taste and quality were below average. - If you are thinking of going by foot, as I wanted to, you can, but I wouldn't recommend it. Hopefully, this will change in the future.

Staff super friendly and kind. 15 minutes on motorbike to diamond beach. Room was big and comfy, deco very nice as well.

The road to access is quite dangerous for unexperienced drivers. Chicken teriyaki was very basic and tasteless. We come from australia and understand about wild animals and that it is not their fault, but had a bad time finding a mouse inside hour room at 12am, animal wouldnt leave or stop making noises. We had to sleep with the lights on and was a terrible sleep. Although the hotel employee came straight away to try to help.

The property was clean and very comfortable. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed for a short stay. The host was amazing and so kind. She helped us with everything! She helped with our bags as soon as we arrived and also helped book any trips whilst here. The food was delicious, we loved it that much that we didn’t eat anywhere else. All home cooked and fresh. The kindest host and can’t recommend this place enough.

The property was a little far out from the main beaches but close to Diamond beach which was lovely. You will need to rent a scooter to get around. The road on the way in is also difficult to drive on but no fault of the owner.

This place was such beautiful and peaceful retreat!!! I wish I had a few extra days to stay longer! Upon arrival, host Kadek greeted me and helped with my luggage as she showed me my adorable room which had the most amazing sunrise view!!!! She took time to walk with me a good distance to show me the quickest path to walk to Diamond and Atuh Beaches and arranged rides for me for my departure to the ferry next day. Once home from the beach, she made a delicious Margarita pizza for me to enjoy and wonderful breakfast the next morning. The room was clean, cute, comfortable, great air conditioning and I slept so well!!! If you are looking for a quiet place with beautiful sunrise and ocean views in the distance with wonderful staff within the area of Diamond Beach book here!
