Kurnia Guest House & Spa

Putu was an incredible host and always cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning at whatever time we wanted. He was so helpful, booking a snorkelling trip to manta bay for us for a very good price and helping us out with any needs. The room was very clean and comfy, and was cleaned everyday. The massages given by the spa were also amazing, overall it was a great experience and such good value for the price

The location is a bit out of the way but if you hire a bike it’s fine and not too far The chickens can be a bit loud in the mornings, but Putu warned us about it and said we can move rooms if the sound gets too bad, but it wasn’t that bad overall.

It’s very nice to escape from city for a night. House owners are friendly and kind, even providing fruits for us in the evening 😊 highly recommend

Weak to non-existent A/C

the host putu was very helpful and friendly. unfortunately i was very ill while staying here and he did what he could to help. he managed to sort out a scooter for a very good price and was very honest about it only charging me for half days. Very reasonable price and would stay again.

it said the room included a tv but there was no tv, it’s nusa penida so you shouldn’t need a tv unless your favourite football team was on…😂

Putu and his wife are the most accomodating, lovely couple! Putu made us a fresh juice on arrival, helped us organise tours, helped us to order dinner and we even got two massages from his wife in their Kurnia spa (10/10 massage!) We had fresh juice and banana pancakes for breakfast which were absolutely delicious. We felt incredibly comfortable and happy here! The bed was also super big and comfy ☺️

Great place to stay in Nusa Penida. The host is just amazing! The bungalows are spacious & clean. There is cleaning service everyday, made up if the bed, clean towels etc. Which is great. The spa is also very nice and worth a visit. Location is ok, but depends on what you are looking for. Its a 15 min motorbike drive from the port an 25 mins to the bar strip on the northerm part of the island. Please note, there are no lights in the evening. However, traffic after 18:00 is very limited, so very much doable. There are indeed some animals around, but not disturbing at all Would come here again when visiting nusa penida!
