Agave Room Rental

The view from our window of the marina while the seas were rough was amazing! We used the luggage transport service recommended in the booklet provided in the room to get our luggage to the train station when we departed. The fee was minimal and the porter was early, fast and helpful.

No fault of the host, but people need to be prepared for lots of steps and incline so perhaps not the best for someone with walking difficulties

The room is sparkling clean, best location in Riomaggiore for watching sunset. There's a cute terrace garden and a heated jacuzzi. A perfect place to make you feel like you're on holiday. Strongly recommended.

Wow. The garden and the view were stunningly amazing. The hype is real. This room has the best place to watch the sunset in all of Cinque Terre. The outdoor kitchen was a nice surprise. Barbara, the property manager went out of her way to help us several times. She gave great local recommendations, and even secured a couple reservations for us. She was so nice and accommodating. She provided 5 star communication. I really enjoyed all of the detailed information on finding the place. The property is located very conveniently in the marina by the ferry. It is close to so many cute little cafes, a Michelin star restaurant, amazing pizza, and fun local shopping. We also enjoyed the included toiletries, drinks and snacks. The shower was great and the bathroom clean. The towels were fluffy and clean. The air conditioning blew nice and cold during our scorching days which was awesome.

We didn't get much sleep the first night of our arrival as there was a large party on the street, right out front of the property. While we recognize this is not Agave's fault, the property was aware, and it would have been nice to know days before instead of mere hours before it started. We were so tired. The party included loud outdoor speakers with bumping music well into the night, with people congregating on the stairs to the room. *Please keep in mind that during high season, this room is adjacent to one of the busiest, most crowded places in Riomaggiore. We felt the security of the property could have been a lot better as a whole. We were asked to keep the building door unlocked, there was no real lock system on the patio door, and the window didn't shut the whole way in the bathroom. There were some mildew spots on the walls and ceiling in the room. There were also some faint stains on the blanket on the bed. There is no space or true storage place to empty your suitcases in the small room. We had a large beehive with very active bees on the patio during our stay. I'm allergic to bees so we were not able to use the patio for the three nights we were there as we had hoped. All our relaxing on the patio was very brief. I alerted the manager, and we were told it wouldn't be fixed until there were no guests staying overnight. All in all, it was an okay stay, but I don't know if we would stay again for the price point.

We had the best views for sunset in an extremely busy spot.

The property was awesome, it was just unfortunate that it was noisey till after 2am but you can live with that.

The location was excellent with amazing view of the sea.
