"The lovely upscale guesthouse has a restaurant, which was convenient after arriving at 1900."

The guesthouse was lovely and our room was spacious, with great views. We stayed just one night. We arrived at 1900 after a long drive so we were happy to see that there was a restaurant there. Most guesthouses provide only breakfast. I'm not sure if there are any other restaurants in the small village The breakfast was very good. There were several traditional breakfast and other meat and cheese items to choose from.

"Too short"

Room and everything was lovely. The restaurant has good basic German fare on the menu but we were too late for it. They made a snack for us rather than having to go out to the town. Breakfast was superb. Wine was available from a fridge in the dining room. The bedroom was great - large, airy with a full table for working from or for making a drink from the provided tea and coffee making tray. There was a terrace with comfortable table chairs and couch overlooking the courtyard.

Check-in is 15.00- 18.00 only! not information available on the Booking site!. The booking for us was accepted by Booking.com at 17.50 on a non refundable basis! We tried to telephone direct and only got a message box. Booking.com were not contactable directly just a FAQ and bot! Useless!!! We continued and tried the bell at 19.30. The proprietor stuck their head out of window and accepted us - thankfully. They explained they preferred longer stays than just overnights but inspite of this they were very generous hearted.

"I would like to go back when the season is at its best."

The room is spacious and well heated if it is cold outside. The cleaning is thorough and the place is magnificent. The breakfast was satisfactory and the hosts were welcoming. It is possible to purchase wine they produce and various local products. It is possible to leave the car in a car park adjacent to the structure.
