Location is magical, even in winter. Old world charm, in pace with another era. Slow, rich, antiques and candlesticks. The sea views are astounding.

Wij vonden het fantastisch. Maar niet geschikt voor mensen die geen trap kunnen lopen.

Elsa was an outstanding host! She greeted us every time we entered and exited the property. She provided a wonderful European breakfast every morning with fruit, bread, meat, cheese, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juice, etc! The rooms were quaint and cozy with beautiful views of the beach and ocean! The property’s dining room and bar area take you back in time….and are great places to curl up with a book and a glass of wine!! George was also a fantastic host…communicating with Portuguese couriers to ensure our lost airline baggage was delivered to a neighboring bus station. An absolutely beautiful hotel with wonderful caretakers…who exceeded all expectations!!
