"A very comfortable stay with lovely hosts."

The hospitality and breakfast in particular were excellent.

The house is an old house with old house issues. The heating had to be supplemented/provided by numerous electric heaters that have to be prohibitively expensive to run.

"Brilliant value in a great location with fantastic hosts."

Karolyn and Chris were so warm and welcoming. We truly felt like we were the most important people at the hotel and nothing was too much effort. Breakfast was delicious and the choice was amazing. Hoping we have an excuse to go back to the area so we can stay there again soon!

From the moment we arrived,we were made to feel so welcome. The house is full of character and nothing was too much trouble for Karolyn and Chris,they really made us feel at home and accommodated us perfectly. The room was spacious and comfortable-we all had a great night's sleep, including Maisy the dog. Having access to the bar and lounge was ideal, especially after a few hours at the Christmas market. Love the honesty box idea at the bar,that was a great touch.The breakfast the next day was outstanding. So many options and all cooked perfectly,we really enjoyed it. Amazing value for money and we can't wait to come back,thank you!
