Sorry the bamboo bridge was down as it took getting to the town a little longer. The small ferry was very useful though.

The host is the best. The room is comfortable. The cats are cute and maybe they will follow you to your room(Ahhhhhhh cuteeeeeee). Reall thanks Vivian to having us and being so kind.

The location. But if you can easily walk about 20 minutes. Then there’s no problem to you.

Beautiful property with a great view of the river. Huge rooms with a balcony, good sized bathroom with good shower pressure. Mini fridge provided. There were about 5 cats at the property that kept us company most nights and were just beautiful. Free bike use was great and gave us chance to explore the area more and get to a great little restaurant about a km away. Host also messaged the day before to let us know about the shuttle from the train station which was a great help.

We had seen the reviews about the construction work but it hadn’t seemed too much of a bother. Unfortunately, for us, it was relentless. It would start at 0630 am and not finish until 5:30pm, one evening it went on until 10 at night. This really affected our stay at the property and while it’s no fault of the hosts, it has to factor into our review. The walk into town is very manageable but it does become tedious after a few days. Maybe once they have sorted the construction this will be better and the bridge will be re-instated. Other guests have mentioned breakfast but this was not on offer during our stay. WiFi was also a bit weak in our room, we were on the end, and we had to sit outside to get good reception.

It was not a good location as the bamboo bridge which could connect to the main part of city is closed as they're doing works on the river. Therefore long walk into town or you need a motor bike or other transport. Apart from that....a nice property.

The hostess was very kind and gave me excellent recommendations for places to visit. She was attentive to my needs throughout the stay, arranging a motorbike rental and laundry service at a very reasonable price. Midway through my stay, a lady came to clean the room, which was nice. Although there was some construction going on during my visit, making it less quiet, I imagine it would normally be a calm and peaceful relaxing place to stay. Guests also have access to a shared kitchen equipped with a stove, kettle, utensils, a laundry machine, as well as complimentary coffee and tea.

The balcony didn’t get much natural light during the day, and whenever people smoked on the neighboring balcony, the smell would drift into my room, which was very unpleasant. The sound insulation was also poor, I could hear everything from the adjacent rooms. Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged, and despite taking quick steps showers, the entire bathroom would flood. Additionally, the pillows were extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
