The staff was super friendly, everything was SUPER CLEAN, the location is good and we found it really comfortable.

If you love the beachside, then you may have to walk a bit. Not ideal if it's hot but I loved the garden. David and Gigi were excellent hosts. The coconut water was the sweetest ever too. There is a stove and barfridge in the room. I had a friend cook for me after buying some fresh fish at the market. Lovely home like stay.

Perhaps having to walk in the hot sun to the beach and having to hail a ride from the main road. I will nonetheless stay at DGs anytime.

David and Gigi were so friendly and made us so welcome right off the bat. The room had a big bed and 2 bunk beds, so it was pretty spacious for me and my nephew. The internet/wifi was also stable and strong. We liked: -free towels, toiletries, kitchen and utensils -strong water pressure -hot and cold shower -comfortable bed -quiet place -very responsive staff -early check in -surf boards for rent -can cook -fridge for use -tables and chairs outside our room

It's about a3-minute ride from the main road so it didn't bother us at all. I think the power of the AC was weak, so we didn't use it at all and it wasn't hot at night, so it didn't bother us.

We absolutely loved our stay. The bedroom and toilet were exceptional. The value for the price is outstanding. Most importantly, the staff was very friendly and if you like to go surfing, the location is really excellent, kind of midway between cloud 9 and paradise.

Our recent stay at DGs was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we arrived until our departure, the owners were incredibly attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. One of the standout features of DGs is the spacious room we stayed in. Perfect for two people, it boasted a well-equipped kitchen, complete with all the necessary cooking utensils. This meant we could whip up our own meals whenever we pleased, adding a touch of home comfort to our vacation. The inclusion of a hot/cold shower was also a welcome surprise, offering respite after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings of Siargao. Another highlight was the internet speed. As someone who often needs to work remotely, I was pleasantly surprised by the reliability and speed of the connection. Even during important meetings, I encountered no disruptions, allowing me to seamlessly conduct my business affairs from the comfort of DG's. Location-wise, DGs strikes the perfect balance between tranquility and accessibility. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle, it offers a peaceful retreat, ideal for unwinding and relaxation. Despite its secluded feel, it's conveniently located near the main road, making it easy to access the island's attractions and amenities. While the road leading to DGs may be a tad bumpy, it's a minor inconvenience compared to the overall experience offered by this hidden gem. I wholeheartedly recommend DG's to anyone seeking a serene and comfortable stay in Siargao. Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple, or a small group, you're sure to find solace and satisfaction at DGs.

Lovely host/owner Nice private room and little outside bit to relax in Heated shower (although not that strong) Comfortable bed Good quiet aircon Toilet seat (honestly some places don’t have them in Siargao) and bidet Free water refills and kitchen Really enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend it.

Just a couple things to note which didnt bother me: No toiletries Road to property is a bumpy ride, you’ll need a scooter here There was a dead cockroach in the room but it was dead so that was good

Gigi is a very friendly and helpful host, she helps with everything. The room was simple but had everything I needed: lots of shelves and hangers to put and dry my stuff, even a little porch with a hammock, hot shower and an AC. I didn't use the kitchen that much, but i guess there's everything you need for cooking simple meals. There were many mosquitos in the kitchen (it's an open space) but Gigi gave me right away a coil to burn which helped a lot. She also dropped me where the bus leaves. She's always ready to go out of her way to make everyone feel comfortable.

Maybe the AC was a bit loud, but i use earplugs anyways so it didn't bother me that much. Sometimes there were insects in the kitchen or the bathroom, but it's a ground floor room in a tropical garden, so it was just nature saying hi.
