The Barn Tarporley

Highly, highly recommended. Everything was exactly as shown on the photos- absolutely amazing- fancy and clean bathroom with a powerful shower, warm, beautiful decor, all furnishings were well-kept and high hotel-standard. Comfy bed and covers, lots of mirrors, windows, plug sockets- all the little things have been thought about. Hosts left milk and breakfast, tea and coffee, with a super-fancy kettle (it's the little things, no?!). All this set in a wonderful green, tree-filled landscape. 20 minutes by cab from Chester. The little town up the road has nice high street cafes and places to eat. We went up for a weekend from London, we walked lots on one day, went out in Chester at night, then went to Liverpool (45mins on the train) the next day.

Everything! This was an absolute perfect escape! We absolutely loved it. It was so cosy and warm upon arrival. The extra touches really made the stay so lovely with the continental breakfast provided, the coffee and biscuits, the chocolate and water by the bed, the lovely shower gel and hand wash provided etc! So well equipped, exceptionally clean, such a comfortable bed and quality bedding, such a peaceful location. Cannot fault this place! Just a perfect night away and we will definitely be returning - thank you!!
