Meli Meli

This is a lovely property. Spotlessly clean. Lovely pool area. Katerina the property manager was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble & she helped book taxis & breakfast delivery. Front rooms had sea view & large terraces with modern table & chairs.

Unfortunately the location. In theory, it’s close to Imerovigli but, in practice, it felt far away. The road to the village was very busy with no footpaths & we didn’t feel safe walking it especially in the evening. There are no services/facilities around the property. There is one small shop but it is quite far along the busy road. Location is fine if you have a car but for those not renting cars, it cost us €20 each way in a taxi to get in/out of Imerovigli. Buses mid-May were almost nonexistent!

It was clean and comfortable. Staff were excellent. Very welcoming, hospitable and helpful.

It's a bit out of the way. You need to walk uphill for 10 to 15 mins to get to Imerovigli town to take the bus to Fira. There is food delivery service to Meli Meli from one of the cafes/bakery in Imerovigli, but the food was not great. It is convenient, but not tasty.

La connexion internet est mauvaise et l’endroit n’est pas idéal si vous n’avez pas de voiture.

Calm, close enough without the trouble of being right in the middle of all the tourists. And Katerina is wonderful and very attentive.

Our host Katerina is such a lovely kind lady. She is extremely kind to allow us to check out 1.5hr later which we appreciate so much, as the weather was cold and windy to wait outside for our ride. The room is exactly like in the pictures. Many windows including within the doors to such spectacular views of the sea & serene area. We went on the Fira to Oia hiking trail which is just behind the apartment, and takes about 45 mins to Fira. We walked about 20 mins to Ilios Bakery & Supermarket to buy bottled water, 5 x 1.5l for 3 EUR. Upon our very early request, Katerina reserved & provided us an electric stove, pots & utensils for cooking, which we appreciated so much. The bus stop is 5 mins walk to the right from the front of Meli Meli, which will take you to Oia to the left, or Fira to the right. We walked 40 mins to Fira bus station which is lovely when weather is cooling.

Everything was perfect.

Our host Katerina was most welcoming, and ready to help whenever needed. The room is picture perfect. We love it so much. The windows are beautiful, with a separate wooden board that opens to see through window without actually opening it. The bus stop is a short walk to the right from the entrance. The views are gorgeous. The balcony is lovely to sit, and able to hang clothes to dry.

Everything was great.

The property is located at amazing location, view, proximity and guest service is awesome. Katerina helped us with everything. She played with our 3 year old made her feel home. My daughter felt so comfortable, she didn’t want come back. It’s kids friendly and warm welcome from Katerina.

Εκτιμήσαμε την εξυπηρέτηση του προσωπικού, την περίσσεια φυσική τους ευγένεια, τη φιλικότητά τους και την επαγγελματοσύνη τους κάτι το οποίο μας έκαναν να νιώσουμε οικεία μαζί τους. Άλλους τους γνωρίσαμε με το όνομά τους [τη Χριστιάνα (αν και δεν καταφέραμε να την γνωρίσουμε από κοντά), το Vince, το Γιάννη) και άλλους χωρίς αλλά πάντα με μια "ζεστή" καλημέρα και το χαμόγελό τους από την υπηρεσία καθαρισμού, πρωινού και μεταφοράς των βαλιτσών μας. Πρωινό εξαιρετικό!
