Marina Lounge Home

Everything about my stay here was fantastic. Antonio and Lino are very kind and helpful hosts who take great care of their guests. Their home is a pretty and comfortable town house in a picturesque area, super close to the marina, shopping streets, and with restaurants and cafes on the doorstep. Breakfast was always creative and really abundant, even better than what I have had in some expensive hotels! There are also some very sweet pets living there, who add to the nice atmosphere. If you can appreciate all these things, I would absolutely recommend staying there!

Very welcoming and helpful hosts - I felt at home with António, Lino and their animals. And the opulent breakfast - different every day - should also be mentioned. Hope I can come back some day!

Breakfast was definitely better than most hotels! Lido & Antonio were extremely helpful in all matters related to our holiday or activities in Azores. The location was downtown on a corner of walking street with many restaurants close by. City center is accessible by foot. (For other locations in Sao Miguel a rental car is best option.) Our teens enjoyed playing with the house pets. ;D

Lino and Antonio were amazing hosts. They helped us greatly with everything. The accomodation is very well located and the room is very comfy. The breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend it!

The central location, cleanliness, home design, nice airy rooms with comfy beds, heavenly showers and the delicious fresh breakfasts prepared by Lino were beyond our expectations. Lino and Antonio are wonderful hosts and ensured our comfort. Spending time with Funny, Aria, Ze Maria and Ana Maria was an added bonus and made our visit even more enjoyable. I miss them already!

Breakfast was excellent - Lino is an amazing chef! He even got up early and packed breakfast for us to go when we had an all day tour scheduled. The location was very close to the city center. It was easy to get around on foot. It felt like we were staying with friends. I enjoyed the house pets. Both Lino and Antonio were wonderful hosts. Lino was very helpful recommending things to do. He arranged for our taxi and checked the flight schedule to see what would be the ideal time to arrive at the airport. We enjoyed our holidays in Portugal but it was Lino who made our trip special. I have traveled extensively and this was by far my favorite bed and breakfast.

Dear Antonio and Lino :) My heart is full of gratitude and love. I made the right decision to choose the pension and you with it. Thank you very much for everything. Special thanks to you, Antonio for arranging the car rental and for calling me several times in the evening of my arrival to ask where I was while I was lost in the streets of Ponta Delgada and had to ask a local person for help. :) Special thanks to you, Lino for the divinely delicious and tastefully served breakfasts. I have never eaten anything so delicious when I was abroad. I must have put on a few kilos. Thank you for compiling a detailed itinerary every day of what to see and where to go on the island. I've been to wonderful places. I'm sure, I couldn’t have got to so many beautiful places without your help. :) The guest house is very beautiful, the furnishings are tasteful and it has a good atmosphere. It is located in the centre of the city, from which all attractions can be reached for a few minutes. Thanks to Luis for the restaurant recommendation. I loved the two dogs, Aria and Funny, and the two cats, Zamerija and Annamarija. These animals are so nice, they accepted me in a few minutes. I felt fantastic at your place and returned home with wonderful memories. I took 600 photos and quite a few videos. Finally, when I took the breakfast package, made by Lino, out of the fridge on Saturday morning, I was very touched. I cried a little again. It felt so good that you took care of me like that. This care crowned my holiday :) I hope we will see each other again soon, because I have to come back to this place many more times. With love, Attila

-Great Hospitality ! -They took their time to explain us the island and to recommend places to go to ! -The breakfast exceeded our expectations by far! Very rich and a lot of choice and very personal. -The room was very clean and had an appropriate size !
