Thomasha Homestay & Tuk Tuk Tour

Perfect Homestay, Thomasha and his family were so welcoming and nothing was too much for them. Had 2 evening meals in there home which were both excellent. Thomasha is also a tour guide and I'd highly recommend using him. We stayed 4 nights in total.

We are cycling around Sri Lanka and got caught in a very heavy downpour 50km from the home stay . We contacted the host to ask if he could help with transport and he managed to find us a driver and van ! he also came too to make sure everything was ok so from our point of view Thoamasha is a legend ! We arrived and very happy with our room, clean and comfortable. everything we needed , and we liked the beds being on the firm side . Thomasha is a very friendly and welcoming host . Would highly recommend . as for the price ? Fantastic value .

Best home stay in Sri Lanka. Room very comfortable and clean. The family was very welcoming and helpfull. The location is near the Buduruwagala temple and ellawala waterfalls.

Thomas is an exceptional host. Kind, smiley and very helpful. If interested,he can show you waterfalls you would never otherwise find.

Great location as the area has some beautiful places one can visit like the Buduruwagala temple and Diyaluma falls. The hosts were very kind and helpful. Room and bathroom were clean.

Room was very warm, bed was quite hard.

This is a genuine feedback. One of the best service we have had in 4.5 months of travelling across Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia. The owner was superb in helping us out. He text before hand if we needed picking up from bus stop for free. He has his own tuk tuk and took us to bus stops and showed us on our way to sites we were visiting. Hit water for tea/coffee was always available in beautiful tea pots. He offered to cook us an evening meal in his home and invited the other single guest. Amazing tasty food of dhal, pumpkin, coconut and herb mix, rice. Only 900 rupees each. He then dropped us off to the bus stop 8-10 mins away for free. We obviously offered him money but he was more keen that we wrote of our experiences of the accommodation. Would definitely recommend.
