On the day of my arrival I couldn't find any member of the staff, I called but no reply. Then one of the staff members reply to my call and instead of coming to pick me up and show me the way, she just gave me directions on the phone... the towels in the bathroom was dirty with stains on it, the bathroom floor was dirty, the complimentary cake on the desk was full of ants ( ants were also in the bathroom), also the pillows had white stains (gross), the remote control didn't have batteries, jacuzzi looks like hasn't been clean in a while... overall not worth the money we paid...

The most amazing breakfast we've had on the whole trip - the quality and quantity of options were amazing, and there was so much fresh fruit. We had to leave early on the last day and they provided us with a plentiful box a day before. Beautiful surroundings, really comfy rooms, and fridge in the room to keep food we had on us cold. We booked a room with balcony and had a great view of the sunset each evening. Spa was very relaxing and infinity pool with great view.

I was looking forward to sauna and hot tub but sauna was off and hot tub only warm. It did say to ask the staff to turn it on, but we couldn't find any on site (we were a bit late though, so maybe if you come earlier in the day that is not an issue). Parking is a bit of an adventure to get into (especially if you aren't used to steep roads), but there were also plenty of options on the street.

Didn't have a coffee machine in the room, too many stairs to get to the room, too many plants and animals everywhere,

Sur le principe l'endroit a un certain potentiel, très vert, beaucoup de plantes, atypique certes par ses nombreux escaliers mais c'est aussi en lien avec le relief et les villes à Madère. Coin piscine sympa, petit déj bien.

Potentiel gâché par le manque criant d'entretien des espaces extérieurs, mais aussi des logements qui auraient vraiment besoin d'être rafraîchis. Parking assez compliqué d'accès et pas forcément très bien indiqué. Nous étions contents de ne pas arriver de nuit et après les horaires où du personnel est présent pour trouver nos clés comme notre logement. De nouveaux logements paraissent être en construction sur la propriété. Cela donne clairement l'impression qu'ils préfèrent gagner plus qu'entretenir l'existant afin que la réalité soit fidèle aux photos... Dommage, cela pourrait vraiment un bel endroit où il ferait bon séjourner.

This was our second stay at this unique Bali estate, and it still has a lot of charm. The houses are creative and full of character, the views are beautiful, and the swimming pool offers a particularly stunning outlook. The staff were lovely, friendly, and always welcoming. The room was cleaned every day.

Gardens and public areas appear quite neglected, Maintenance is needed throughout the property, and more attention from gardeners would make a big difference to the overall experience. Unfortunately, some of the wellness facilities were also disappointing. The pool was quite cold, the jacuzzi was dirty, and the hot spring was out of order during our stay. The restaurant was unfortunately disappointing as well. The menu was very limited, service was inconsistent, and during dinner the waitresses disappeared. There were also no desserts available on the evening we visited. On a positive note, a new café-restaurant has just opened next to the hotel and it is excellent. It serves great food, drinks, and cocktails throughout the day and was a real highlight of our stay. Overall, this is still a special and original place with wonderful views and kind staff, but it is clearly in need of better maintenance and improvements to its facilities and dining experience to reach its full potential.
