Kurze Distanz zum Eingangstor von San Giminigano. Zimmer war o.k. Bezüglich Parken - der Vermieter teilte mir mit, wo ich Gratis-Parkplätze finde, was ich sehr schätzte.

"Tolle Lage mit schönem BLick auf die Landschaft"

Wir kamen am Nachmittag an und nach einem kurzen Anruf war jemand nach eingen Minuten da zum Check in. ZUm Ausladen des gepäcks kann man kurz (15min) vors Haus fahren, muss dann aber woanders parken. Es gibt in der Nähe einge Parkplätze, die alle mit Gebühr sind. Man muss schon ein ganzes Stück runterfahren um einen der kostenlosen Parkplätze zu ergattern. Die Lage ist super, ausserhalb der ZTL aber fussläufig vom historischen Zentrum. Wenn man dort wohnt,kann man in deren Restaurant Il feudo mit Discout essen.

Das Wifi hat die ganze Zeit nicht funktioniert während wir dort waren,. Das war sehr doof, weil wir Flüge einchecken mussten. Es steht nirgendwo wie das Wifi heisst, nur das Passwort.

"Lovely spacious rooms, with beautiful views right at the entrance of town"

The room was a great size with wonderful views. We booked last minute and were very happy with the location and facilities. Although it is outside of the walled town, it is right on the doorstep and easy to navigate. Very close to a parking place, Parcheggio 2 Montemaggio, which made carrying bags very easy. We ate at the twinned restaurant Il Feudo and had a lovely meal. Great value for money.

Google maps took us to the restaurant rather than the accommodation. Would recommend having another google listing specifically for the apartments, which makes it clearer where they are and where the entrance to the apartments is. The accommodation is also not manned, despite what it says on booking.com. It was easy to communicate with the owners on WhatsApp, and somebody arrived within 10mins to let us in.
