Foot-loose & Fancy Free

Ursula and John were delightful hosts and the accommodation was super comfortable with spectacular views!

The only thing I didn't like was having a shower curtain instead of a shower door, however that was definitely not a deal breaker!

It‘s a beautiful place with a nice view! Ursula and her husband are very friendly. We would highly recommend to spend some time at foot-loose& fancy free!

We enjoyed our interaction with the down to earth, uncomplicated hosts, Ursula and John. Ursula is really passionate about indigenous flora and knows a lot about the various plants, be they succulents, grasses, trees or shrubs.

Besides excellent value, view and locality, the hospitality of the hosts was amazing, especially the level of communication, right down to the loadshedding schedule prior to your arrival, so thoughtful.

Just wish I had the time to have stayed longer 😉

Everything was fantastic and the hosts were absolutely awesome. I would recommend this little fishermans cottage to everyone. Real value for money, gorgeous view, lovely village and and all round happy vibe

I loved everything, except a TV is really important. Perhaps just run a cable from your tv with dual view and buy a little tv. To me that is all that can be improved on.

The hosts shared their advice, experiences, cats, love for gardening and cycling, cuisine, cars and smiles with us. They made sure that every need was cared for, even boiling water at 5am as a result of loadshedding. This made the stay wonderfully comfortable under their blanket of care. A home away from home.

A small microwave, even though they took every step to assure us that they would heat anything we needed.
