Eilidh’s Guest House

I have booked the rooms well knowing the location. The house is strategically close to the restaurants, the pub and the supermarket. You can stay here and walk to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg distilleries easily on a dry day. Niall has been a perfect host. He even offered us breakfast on the house in place of the day of our booking we have missed due to the ferry cancellation. The rooms had a good size table with plates and cutlery enabling you to enjoy takeaway dinners in the comfort of your room, as there are not many restaurants around you may end up having a takeaway at the end of the day if you haven't pre-booked any restaurants.

There was nothing we did not like as everything was as expected if not better.

The location is spectacular and the host, Niall, was extremely nice and considerate. He helped us plan out our days, and suggested where to eat since that can be tricky on the Island. Overall he made us feel very welcome.

Great views and close to town. Slight uphill walk but gives great views

The location was perfect, and our room had a little breakfast table with a beautiful view over the harbour. The room was a great size with a separate and decent sized bathroom. Both were cleaned every day which I wasn't expecting.

The mattresses were on the soft side
