Perfect harbour-front location. Very friendly staff and the home-made breakfast was very tasty and a nice homely touch.

Eilidah’s was a great spot from which to explore Islay. It’s super close to the ferry terminal, good restaurants, distilleries and the bus service. Niall was an excellent host who provided good local advice and the place was spotlessly clean. The room was spacious and we could relax at the end of the day from the dining table looking out over the bay.

The single beds were a little soft for me, but my husband found them comfortable.

Great place.. just two doors down from the bar.. and 6 or 8 doors from the restaurant. Port Ellen is very small. Don't expect to much from it.. but great for discovering the Whisky distilleries. And off course the great Scottish breakfast with haggish!!

Everything in Port Ellen is a bit old fashioned / styled.. But that was all expected and it's part of the charm. To eat you have to be on time and make reservations in one of the two restaurants.

Excellent location overlooking the bay, wonderful view from the window. Very clean and comfortable. Parking directly outside. CoOp 2 mins away if needed. Great Chinese also very close. Imagine would be very busy in the summer.

Great location with views overlooking Port Ellen bay. Very close to the pub and good restaurant. Access was easy. All the facilities you need for a short break.

The location was brilliant, right on the harbour with a stunning view from our window and the local pub right next door. We had a table, fridge and kettle in our room so we could do our own thing in the evenings rather than having to eat out if we wanted to. The bathroom was very spacious with a great shower and we had a separate hallway for our wet coats and boots etc.

It was a wee bit noisy on a Friday night with the pub next door, and we didn’t realise when we booked that we wouldn’t get breakfast included at this bed and breakfast.

The property was in an excellent location for us, close to restaurants and pubs. We also managed to visit 5 distilleries.

Nyall was very welcoming and nothing was a bother to him 😁
