Maidan El Arsa

We loved our stay at Maidan El Arsa. The hosts and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. They loved playing with and entertaining our baby. The traditional breakfast every morning in the sunshine changed every day to avoid getting bored of one dish. The facilities on site were perfect for a relaxing stay after spending time in the centre of Marrakesh. The gardens are a delight to walk around with food for lunch and dinner mainly grown on site! We loved the heated outdoor pool as we were able to utilise it during the month of December. It got cold in the evenings and night, there is a heater in the room which kept the room at a perfect temperature. We loved the traditional decor in the bedroom and the bathroom.

The home is absolutely beautiful, a perfect little oasis away from the chaos of the city if you want to be surrounded by nature and relax. The swimming pool is really nice and everything in the room was top quality, from the bedsheets to the lovely soap in the shower. The food was also tasty, with everything being home cooked and fresh!

Not really a con as I knew this before booking anyway, but if you do want to visit Marrakech while you're here, be aware that you'll need some form of transportation as it's not very close to the city (23km I believe).

Great place to enjoy a relaxing stay. The staff and owners are so kind and attentive, place is very clean and it is just 30 minutes away by car from the busy Medina. Spacious well decorated room and shower, super clean and beautiful pool surrounded by the property's gardens. Delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared by the cook every day with local products from the garden and neighbouring market.

Marie, Mina and family are so lovely! The pool is amazing and the tranquility is wonderful. It’s a real family feeling and relaxing place. They made sure I had everything I needed and the food was fresh and delicious. Will definitely come back!

I really liked that it was very peaceful, no noises around the hotel. You could relax without any interruptions. The staff is very nice and very welcoming.

Our stay at this property, just 25 minutes from Marrakesh, was perfect. It's an oasis with lemon trees and lots of home-grown vegetables, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The quiet surroundings make it feel like a true escape from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the pool is simply incredible. Mina looked after us so well. Her cooking is amazing—every meal was a treat! The lovely dog and cat on the property added to the homely feel. If you’re looking for a tranquil retreat with great food and a beautiful setting, this is it. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return again in September!

The fact we had to leave

The room was lovely and spacious. The food was delicious. The pool was very relaxing and private.

The only thing was that the poolside area wasn’t cleaned after a big group came who left cigarette butts everywhere. No biggie!

Lovely place but you need a car to get somewhere and there are no other facilities like restaurants nearby so that is good to know beforehand

Great stay in this lovely property. Very well kept, heated pool, great rooms and just beautiful surroundings. The owners and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect.

The only small point of improvement I would say is that they could add some eggs or fruits to the breakfast, they did when we asked and it was all very tasteful, but the standard breakfast is a bit limited.

Outstanding beautiful gardens and tasteful design. Very warm hosts and staff. Incredible food. The owners Marie and Pierre were so lovely and happy. Marie lent me her shawls for the cold mornings. Mina and Fatima were always smiling too and their cooking was absolutely fantastic!! Pool is a gem and the friendly cat and dog. Would love to return as it is a perfect sanctuary for peace and relaxation.

Nothing I didn't like. Even without a hairdryer, all was wonderful.
