Migdal Oz aka Rufpatch

What an amazing little place! It’s so cute! And extremely clean! The shower pressure was amazing after a long day of driving. As a single lady traveling alone (moving across country so car full of stuff too) i felt so safe and comfortable. Would highly recommend. The owners were so sweet as well, graciously let me check in late and were so kind and hospitable.

The host was very helpful. Contacted me prior to the time to introduced himself. Gave me updates on the upcoming weather and the town.even boiled water for us on his gas stove in his private home bcoz we had loadshedding at the time

The quietness and solitude away from the hustle and bustle. We got a free upgrade which was a nice surprise.

Nothing. It was lovely.

Ik wou ergens overnachten waar het huiselijk, schoon en gemoedelijk was. En liefst ook met een paar huisdieren erbij. De kamer was ruim met een keukentje erbij en alles wat ik nodig had. Een fles vol verse melk in de koelkast en ik kreeg pruimen mee voor onderweg.

This is a great stop-over between Jhb and P. E. Very close to half-way. The property is fully fenced, so our fur babies were safe, which is our biggest concern when staying at any holiday rental. Our other non-negotiable is a hot shower, which we got. The beds are comfy. Check in / out was easy, as usual (this was our third stay at Migdal Oz). We received cold fridge water and fresh milk, which was really appreciated.

This wasn't an issue, just something to be aware of. We always travel with some meats for the holiday. The unit has a bar fridge, so it does not have any significant freezing space. We always keep our cooler box closed and replace the ice the next morning, so we were fine (meat stayed frozen solid). Our host did offer to save our meat in his freezer though, so just ask if you are taking items with you for a longer holiday.
