The beach immediately in front of the hotel is safe and clean with small surf ideal for most people. The gardens were lovely. Facilities in the room worked very well. The staff as always in Bali were excellent.

The room could have been much cleaner and the restaurant could have been better for the price.

Nature, quiet, peaceful, clean, comfortable, access to ocean and beach, culture everywhere, friendly people, happy staff, great food, an awesome experience from beginning to end.

The real Bali, Indonesia experience is here. A jaunt from the airport, driving through some of the most scenery that you can imagine. Walking into what feels like a dreamworld of nature, culture and people. Our lodging was steps from a beautiful beach. No tourists. Fishermen out all night, coming in with their catch. Black volcanic sand which is also a site to see. It’s as authentic as it gets. The grounds are filled with tropical greenery and nature abounds with insects, animals and you can catch sight of the race ox’s next door. No poop smells here. Only fresh sea air. Cats do visit but are shy and weary of strangers. Chickens make sure that the bugs are kept in check. The staff are always smiling. The meals were so good that we rarely ventured out. The traditional chicken and pork are a real hit and not to be missed. Some of the best cooking I’ve experienced in weeks of traveling. A must do is ask to visit the orphanage. It will change your perspective of life. The children there are by far the most grateful, happy and superbly lovely humans I’ve ever met. Talk to them and get to know them. Arrange for a pool visit for them if you can for $50 for the lot. It will make their month. Once you go, you’ll understand why. If you’re feeling generous, take them out for a snack at the local noodle shop. All of this optional but made our trip. It’s my second time visiting and each time is a reminder of how lucky I am to have found this place. It was my first stop initially in Bali two years ago, based on what I saw on google maps and that was close to the beach. It turned out to be the best “mistake” I ever made. Shout out to Jenny for doing such a fantastic job managing the place and for Krishna and the others whose names escape me now. All amazing people

Food here was the best I had in Bali. Often locals doing activities along the beach which I enjoyed Cooking class was excellent Beautiful garden. Pleasant staff

Leak in bathroom which made the floor always wet

Nice place with nice rooms and close to the beach. Ate at the restaurant on site reasonably prices and good food. A highlight was Kadek volunteered to drive me around and took me to the Buffalo Races, temple, and sea turtle conservation place. It was a good day! And he told me all about the area and the race rules/history.
