I have never reviewed accommodation before, however I had such an unusual and uncomfortable experience with the owner that I feel compelled to say something. After we checked out she kindly let us leave our luggage. Then, when I looked at my phone during breakfast, I saw that she called twice and asked about this booklet left in the room. She firstly accused my partner and I of taking the brochure from the room - which we did not do (I’m also not sure why we would - it had easily googlable information about the island, and then some information on how to use the shower.) When we said we didn’t have it, she insisted we search our bags in case we “accidentally” took this large, menu sized laminated book. When we again didn’t have it, she said that we must have taken it to the restaurant and left it (I’m not sure how we would do that as it’s too big for my purse), or that we left a window open and it fell out. It’s also important to note that she didn’t even check the room (only the cleaner looked), and she wouldn’t let us look ourselves after she said she couldn’t find it. Throughout this interrogation she was quite unpleasant, and overall it was a really uncomfortable experience and cast a pall on my holiday.

AUIce-maker was amazing for those hot days. Bus stop was so close and very convenient to get to Stari Grad port and Hvar Port. Location was amazing just on the edge of Stari Grad old told and a lovely walk to all of the restaurants and cafes.
USGreat space; lots of room. Looks like the pictures. Enjoyed the courtyard. Three couples socialized over our bottles of wine one night. Very fun!
Could have had better pillows for bed. My husband needed to add a pillow from the living room.

GBA beautiful, cosy property full of charm and character and smelled wonderful! Clean and comfortable with the added bonus of a lovely courtyard to relax in. Good facilities in the shared kitchen, the ice machine was much appreciated! It was so peaceful at night - we slept really well (the comfy bed helped). Great location for easy access to all Stari Grad has to offer. We loved it.
