ITThe host Rose was absolutely brilliant. Never had a better experience in terms of how the host took care of us with recommendation, clear directions and helped us shaping our holiday according to our needs. This attention to details is such a rarity to find. The place was very nice and clean, and the position just outside the old town was amazing. Can’t recommend this place enough. Rose thank you again!

AUThe location is great, right on the historical heart of Stari Grad. Our host Rosa greeted us and was warm and friendly, giving us a booklet of places to go and information on Stari Grad. We loved the restaurant she reccomended so much we went back twice! The room was simple but felt like you’re staying in a historical room, so that felt right. It all smelt like lavender which was very relaxing when you got home of a day. We loved staying in Stari Grad and it was a highlight of our European trip. If you’re over 40, skip the party vibe of Hvar (or just go for for the day like we did) and soak up the equally vibey but more relaxed Stari Grad. You won’t regret it!

NOIt had a well equipped kitchen, just be aware there is no freezer. The host was friendly and gave us a good walkthrough of how things work and things to do around Stari Grad.
The location is quite far away from the city centre of Hvar and the bus leaves rarely. So if you don’t have a car, it’s quite hard to move around on the island of Hvar. Moreover, there was a power outage in the building, waking us up in an unbearable heat which made us pack up and leave earlier than planned.
