Drapers San Guest House

Carla was a superb host. Would gladly stay again.

I really enjoyed staying at Drapers San Guesthouse. Carla was super nice and hospitable. The location is really good to visit nice spots in Portland. My favourite was Winnifred beach. i enjoyed my meals at my guesthouse and every bit of my stay.

Carla was a sweetheart of a host. She provided me with assistance before and after I got there and even gave me a sweet upgrade due to the availability at the time.

The rooms were modest but clean and functional. There were fans in the rooms and the water pressure in the shower was good. The kitchen was fairly well equipped (bring your own coffee-maker though) and there was a dining room that accommodated up to 6 people. Additional seating was available outside. The WiFi worked well in certain areas. Nice and quiet public beach was just five-minutes walk away. The staff was friendly; especially the owner, Carla, who was keen to make sure that we had everything we needed to feel comfortable during our stay. We were able to park our car inside the gate, but inquire beforehand, as the space is scarce.

Place was passable, I need somewhere to sleep for the night and I got that.... the host was amazing...love love her personally . the security was very helpful. I also love the fact that I was very close to the Beach. :)

I wish my room and bathroom was a little bigger. but I guess it was worth it for the price. Bathroom door needs fixing...I forgot to mention this to my host... the place needs a little renovation...

Great place to stay. Lovely staff and owner. Good food and cold beers 1 minute walk .

Nothing not to like

Carla is an absolute legend and the amazing positive aura she have will let you feel home and in a total relax! The staff with her are also an awesome team.. can’t wait to be back

I loved the charming, homely and authentic feel here. I could hear the gentle sound of waves nearby my room which was so soothing. The host and staff are attentive and friendly and very helpful. There's lots of beautiful beaches to visit and there is a sweet beach within walking distance of the property.
