Cheapest private room we could find.

Very dirty rooms. The smoke alarm went off at 2am in our room for no reason we could identify. Not much ventilation so it was extremely humid and hot, we noticed lots of crawling insects in the room. They even crawled on us at night as the room wasn’t properly sealed. We also had lizards crawling into the room. We saw several cockroaches right outside our room, luckily they didn’t come in too. There was only a tiny mirror in the bathroom. Mould in the room near the door. It is a long walk to town. They are building a second story above the room and loud construction noises start at 7:30 each day, we were not warned about this and got no discount. You could only pay cash, and the lady at the front desk was often not present and we had to wait a long time for her to come. It’s worth paying a little more for a more comfortable stay.

Amazing wifi in the room

Firstly we saw some reviews saying the owner was very nice and helpful, but know that it only applies if you speak Spanish. She didn’t really try to communicate anything with us except walking us to our room. We didn’t know that they even had a kitchen until the day before we checked out when we found it by accident. There were ants everywhere, they even crawled onto the bed at night onto us. The rooms were extremely humid and had a bad smell with mould in places. Very dirty surfaces, when we wiped with a towel it was black. The shower sprayed water in all directions at a low pressure. It’s also a far walk from the port which is a shame.

No window in room. Very stuffy. Saw some cockroaches in common area and kitchen. We spent too much time walking to downtown.

great location, good room and kitchen, bike rentals & snorkeling gear available for rent at the spot which is great :) in addition very friendly host.

Everything was good, however it would be great to have a hanger in the shower for towels.

The owner was really friendly and supportive. She answered all our inquiries and was always available. We can not recommend it enough. Do not doubt it! This is a great option.

Wonderful accomodation- lovely, friendly host family. Our room was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to make our own meals. Free water and use of snorkeling gear was very much appreciated. Great value for money and we loved our stay here!

Host was excellent! I requested something for my partners birthday and there was chocolates and balloon on arrival, it was really lovely! Thank you 😀Great double room and was even better than the pictures. Good that we could refill our water bottles and they had snorkels to rent at a very good price and also a kitchen we could use.

The pillow was a bit hard.
