"Come for the amazing food and enjoy the peace, quiet and comfortable room"

The room was really spacious, clean and well appointed. The location was rural and very peaceful. The duck meal that night was singly the best meal we have had since being in Ireland, (over 10 days) very friendly staff/owner. We stumbled onto this place but really it needs to be a stopover when you’re anywhere near Carrickmacross

Sehr gemütliches Pub an einem Bach mitten im Grünen, schön ruhige Lage. Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal. Leckeres Abendessen im Pub wobei es sich lohnt einen Tisch zu reservieren. Frühstück abwechslungsreich und regional.

Leider war die Sicht von unserem Zimmer auf einen Innenhof mit Gastanks, wenn man den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist und nur zum Schlafen dort ist stört es nicht weiter. Andere Zimmer haben wahrscheinlich eine bessere Sicht.
