Orange-Ville Lodge & Guesthouse

Location is good

Room was dark, cold and humid. Does not have any light, we were freezing and the air inside was really humid. Breakfast was not good at all, coffee undrinkable, buffet really tasteless, unfortunate as the rest of our trip in the Cape Town region was only good and tasty food everywhere. On the last day, we did check out with the lady but the male host asked us straight up 'if we had settle the bill' as if we were running away without checking out, this felt so uneasy and rude. Worst place we had during our 8 days trips in Cape Town.

A very relaxing place!

The location was ideal given that the drive was just over an hour from home yet far enough to feel like we’re away on vacation. The place was exceptionally clean and tidy.

It would have been nice if one of the pools was heated, and there was a 24 hour hot tub or 2 available.

Nothing. I am not very good on my feet/legs so I found the long walk to the house for breakfast a bit of a struggle this is not a criticism it’s just me Five years back I would have loved it Thank you for all your support and help Sandy

A lovely lodge, well situated in Stellenbosch. Hardy and Steffi are great hosts and provide a very personable experience.

We found the bed and pillows a bit on the hard side.

Management and staff were amazing, made us feel so welcome :-) Treated my grandson like a little prince.
