Beautiful pool area, gardens, seating around the pool and views. Lovely breakfast. Good recommendations by owners

The air-conditioning was turned off at 10pm so was quite hot to sleep at night. They did give us a fan. The lighting system was unnecessarily complex made it difficult to turn lights on and off. The owners were not super friendly to our 3 kids. At times we felt uncomfortable when the kids were playing loudly.

The location is amazing, close to lots of wineries and stunning views.

The owners made us feel somewhat unwelcome. First in terms of saying they recommend having a hire car - when this is not apparent from the listing. Then, their surprise at us staying for only 2 nights when their guests usually stay longer - again make this clear on the website. The rooms we stayed in was not visible in the pictures on Booking.com it was basically a man cave full of unnecessarily gadgets, black furniture and a tired kitchen area. The main problem was the promises the owners made and then didn’t keep, first that they would give us a lift up to the top winery. They did but much later than promised and only when we went and found them. Second, they said they would help us out through the 2 gates to our taxi on the morning we were leaving (at 6.30am). Again no one appeared. Really frustrating.
