Location was great

Very average property for the price. We could also not get access to the property, as our host we’re not at the house and was not answering his mobile phone.

The location was good.

The first room upstairs I had the TV did not work. I called the owner, but he was also unable to get the TV working. The countertop oven in the first room was seriously ghastly, not that I was planning to use it. However, the countertop oven in the second room was brand new, it didn't look like it had been used yet. In the second room, there was a TV but no DSTV Decoder, only a lonely HDMI cable for it! The owner kindly moved me to a room downstairs, because I was going for spinal surgery a day later and would return to the guest house to recover for a further 6 days. Not completely physically able to get around the local area, I was stuck here in this guest house. So, not even having TV to watch to pass the time it was unpleasant. Instead, I had to use my laptop to watch TV. Both rooms were old and run-down, very dirty behind the furniture where no cleaning gets done. Very old worn carpets that were dirty. Both rooms had a floor standing lamp, but neither were functional. The second room had no chopping board in the kitchen. Luckily, the bathrooms were the only rooms that were ok. To be fair, the only facility that was good was the swimming pool. It was immaculately clean and inviting. Unfortunately, recovering from spinal surgery I was unable to use the pool.

The only thing we liked about the property is the location. It’s in a beautiful suburb.

It wasn’t well kept nor was it comfortable.
