Croc River Lodge

Was good for the price however the rooms are on the verandah where people are sitting so it tends to be a bit loud. Room was clean and tidy and location was excellent. Just a bit different from what we’d expected from the photos.

The most wonderful, friendly staff and the most incredible view - with morning elephant and hippo sightings. Good value for money, room very clean and had a fridge, kettle, tea and coffee etc. Location is especially close to the Croc River Kruger gate, and close to amenities at Komatipoort. Would definitely stay again!

The room unfortunately wasn't very soundproof. The furnishings could do with a bit of a refresh/update.

We had a wonderful experience at Croc River Lodge! The host was incredibly friendly and communicative, and the staff’s hospitality truly stood out. It was such a peaceful and relaxing stay — the perfect getaway for anyone looking for a city break. The lodge offers stunning views of the Crocodile River and the Kruger National Park, where you can often spot animals right from the property. It’s also conveniently located just 10 km from Kruger National Park. Highly recommend for a serene and memorable stay!

The view is truly beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and the staff very friendly and professional. We arrived 2 hours after our agreed time of arrival (an accident blocked the highway) , and the hosts still accommodated us. Sitting on the patio, overlooking the Croc River, Kruger Park and Mozambique - wow!

We were standing still on the N4 for over 2 hours, due to an accident in the gorge. It is not the guest house’s problem at all, but it was difficult to get there.
