It's difficult to describe what we experienced here! Score 10/10 is far not enough. I would give 15 if I could. Owner and his family were exceptionally nice, kind and hospitable! I felt here like with my own family! I never had that before I came here! Most of them speak English very well, so I learnt about this place a lot. They also help me to arrange boat trip to the Uvac lake, see griffon vulture nest (only place in Europe You can visit to see them!), great caves. They offered us homemade Rakija whenever we wanted! We also asked to prepare breakfasts and dinners for us. Everything was homemade, organic and tasty more than I could imagine! Portions were huge, probably 50-70% bigger then we could cope! They kept perfect balance between giving us privacy as much as we needed but staying near and helping us, advicing us if we asked. This visit change my live! Showed that on this world still exist incredibly descent, nice, friendly and warm-hearted people. We come back in the future, that's for sure. Thanks for everything! Hvala Vam sa sve!

An amazing family run property set in a picturesque location. Home cooked traditional food which is exceptional. This property is a great way to truly experience local hospitality. The host family are so welcoming and made our stay so memorable.

A a nice quiet place away from civilization. The hosts are very kind and nice people. Breakfast is traditional, delicious, and comes in great quantity. rooms are comfortable. Nature around is breathtaking. We enjoyed our stay there and wish to come back someday.

if u don't like remote places this isn't your cup of tea

I stayed at the Ethno Selo for 5 days and it really was a little escape. The location is beautiful! There are two breathtaking sightseeing spots a 20 min walk from the house, and not to mention the beach being a 10 min walk as well. I came by bus and didn't have a car to travel to the nearby cities and sightseeing places and STILL the 5 days flew by with how much there is to see walking distance from the house. If you are looking to take a bit of fresh air and reset from the stresses of life; truly look no further than this place. They have this adorable seating area on the top of a hill at the back of the house, it was my absolute favorite place to sit and watch the sunset. A mesmerizing view with a cup of tea and you got the perfect meditation spot. A added bonus is the couple that runs it are just the sweetest and kindest people. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe being a solo traveler; it really meant a lot. The company and morning coffees was alone enough to give this place a 5/5 star review! :)

I truly cannot think of anything, the stay was really wonderful.

The hosts are very friendly. Outstanding hospitality. We enjoyed talking with them and sharing our experiences. Mira's food was absolutely mouthwatering. We would wake up every morning to the smell of the breakfast she was preparing and we would look forward to it while having coffee and rakija with Velja. They have also two very sweet dogs you can pet whenever you want to. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. After a long day of hiking we enjoyed sitting outside and listening to crickets so if you love spending time outdoors, we definitely recommend this place. The hosts also helped us go on a cruise down the river. It was an amazing experience. The viewpoint near their place is also breathtaking. We wanted to enjoy the nature, tasty food and peace and we got even more than we hoped for. Thank you so much for having us, Mira and Velja, and we sure hope we will come to visit you again!
