Top of the world studio nestled in the rock

De plek is enorm mooi! Een enorm fijn verblijf!

Het zou handig zijn als er 2 borden staan om iets te eten.

We did not get the direction instructions until after we arrived - would have helped to have these before hand as it was not easy to find.

This place feels like in the middle of nowhere and is the perfect place for a day/night off! It feels a little strange to sleep in a glass box without any curtains (which are not necessary as there is nothing around) but when you wake up in the morning you understand why this is the case. I arrived in the dark, so I could only see the view in the morning but the night sky up there is amazing too. Nearly no light pollution and the milky way nearly jumps in your eyes. There must be beautiful sun rise/set too but it was cloudy when I was there.

Alles, es ist absolut atemberaubend wenn man oben auf dem Berg angekommen ist. Ein absolutes Erlebnis. Die Aussicht, die Ruhe und vor allem die Gastfreunflichkeit sind umwerfend. Absolut ein Besuch wert, schade dass wir nur eine Nacht bleiben konnten. Die Aussicht kann man im Übrigen auch vom Bett aus genießen dank Panoramafenstern. Unsere Empfehlung: Man sollte sich unbedingt etwas zum Knabbern und einen guten Wein mitbringen und den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Wahlweise auch den Aufgang mit einer Tasse Kaffee ;)

Nichts zu meckern! Unser i - Tüpfelchen wäre bei der kleinen und sehr guten Kaffee und Teeausstattung ein kleiner Toaster.

What's NOT to like about this little studio which really IS on top of the world?! A truly breathtaking location yet only 20mins out of Wānaka, so you have convenience yet the most unique experience. Adrienne & Phil have built an astonishing home and then decided to let people share their incredible space. The added bonus is their sustainability..off-grid living at its finest. I was welcomed warmly by Adrienne and their 2 sweet dogs. The studio is beautifully appointed and private. Comfortable bed, hot shower, real coffee and tea and homemade bickies and a view that couldn't fail to impress.

Wish I'd stayed more than 1 night! Can't fault it 🤷🏻‍♀️

The property does not have any facilities for heating up food & no F&B outlets within 5km.
