Okari Cottage

Breakfast was left in the cottage, cereal, milk, bread, butter, jam/ honey etc. Plus tea and coffee. Quite sufficient to start the day.

We really enjoyed the secluded location and the views from the cottage. The cabin has all the basic amenities and the shower is strong.

This place is just special. A great place to just chill. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We spent most of our time on the deck watching the waves washing up on the deserted beach. Stunning.

Spectacular pano views, well equipped cottage, and loved the thoughtful touches like robes and welcoming chocolates. Would definitely recommend.

Okari cottage is in a spectacular location, and you truly are away from it all. Views straight out over the Tasman sea from the cottage, and there's a sandy beach across the road which is great for walking on (although the waves look a bit challenging for swimming). The accommodation is a smallish 1 room cottage with very modern amenities and the attention to detail is exceptional. A continental breakfast is provided and chocolates and bathrobes are a lovely touch. Our expectations were exceeded! Can't recommend highly enough.

Need to replace the tin-opener and sharpen the scissors. Otherwise totally perfect.

Wonderful views from the cottage. Set in a beautiful garden. Loved the resident weka family. Jude was very welcoming and helpful. The cottage had been created and maintained to a very high standard with some thoughtful touches.

The accommodation was a bit smaller than we had expected and there was not much storage space,. The beach near the cottage was difficult to access and felt unsafe for swimming.
