Okari Cottage

Honestly one of the best places we stayed in NZ. Secluded, with spectacular ocean views, lovely interior, great terrace and all you need for a couple of days. The place is (far) away from everything but easily accessible by car. There is a walkway right out front along the beach and a seal colony nearby (you can walk there). Sunset is amazing (given good weather). If ypu are in doubt, don't be and go here!

Although a 20 min drive to Westport just means you have to be organised. Super position over looking the sea from the outside sofa, can get breezy ( it’s all in a name ) very comfortably bed and small sofa inside, breakfast bar as well as a table and bbq under the veranda to the side. Easy to find clear signage by the road and on the drive. We stayed 2 nights and pleased we had the time to explore this coast.

One small detail for light sleepers, the glass door has no blinds so it remains and turns light in your room during sunset and dawn

This is a lovely place to stay with a breathtaking view. It's very modern with all new appliances. Access to clothes washing is available.

Gorgeous location. Very clean and well stocked. Great attention to detail

Limited options for dining. One of the local restaurants had pretty much of food by 8 pm. Recommend you bring your own food to prepare. There’s a bbq grill and good cooking equipment
