Very clean, located on edge of old quarter so great for bars, pintxos and buzzing nightlife. Not too bad a walk to superb beach either.

Parking extortionate unless sorted with landlady for only very expensive option. Was too complicated to remedy after. Dated property and EXPENSIVE to stay.

The location was great, located in old town, and close to many restaurants and attractions. It was an easy 15 minute walk from the bus station. The hostess was very kind and accommodating. She upgraded our room to a larger room with a newer bathroom the second night even though our first room was just fine. The pension was very clean and quiet. We were very pleased and would recommend this pension!

Die Lage der Pension Lorea ist ausserordentlich gut. Als ältere Einzelperson habe ich wennmöglich um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten. Das habe ich tatsächlich bekommen, ein kleines Doppelzimmer als Einzelzimmer, war sehr hübsch und total ruhig. Das Zimmer incl. Bad hat einen neuen Eindruck gemacht. Die Matratze war für meinen Rücken etwas hart. Die Dame von der Rezeption ist sehr hilfreich und freundlich (heisst sie Lorea?) Was die Lage betrifft: Alle vier Richtungen sind interessant, die Zurriola Beach ist etwas weniger überlaufen als Contxa. Beim Funi auf den Igeldo gut auf den Geldbeutel aufpassen, der ist mir beim letzten Besuch dort geklaut worden. Das war aber bestimmt kein Baske. Falls ich San Sebastian nochmals besuche lieber nicht übers Wochenende. Das wars, lieben Gruss an Lorea.

Ich bin kein Frühstücksmensch, aber einen Wasserkocher für meinen Kaffee oder Tee hätte ich geschätzt.
