Sail Loft

Very nice location, a short walk to the town and train station. Clean and cosy room. Has all that was needed as a base.

Apex roof would make it a little awkward for taller people to make hot drinks and use the facilities.

The sail loft is a quirky, comfortable, clean place to stay and ideally located for walking on the downs or around Eastbourne.

I was surprised there wasn't any cutlery and crockery provided. Also no washing up liquid, cloths, tea towel, toilet brush, dustpan and brush.

Lack of facilities shown in listing No shower toiletries Less than 1/2 roll toilet paper Less than a couple of pumps of soap WiFi did not work Toilet did not flush properly No milk and had to search for teabags hidden at the back of a lower cupboard. Some small things that could easily be resolved and the toilet issue down to maintenance as there was toilet tissue in the bowl when we arrived so it should have been obvious to the cleaner there was an issue. WiFi issues should have been advised. I emailed the managing company 6 times during our stay. 5 emails bounced back the last one delivered but no response given. This is not acceptable

Had a fridge and microwave

Lack of headroom,toilet has very bad flush,dirty stained cups and had to buy milk as none in fridge.

Mattress very comfortable, duvet and pillows a revelation. Shower with high pressure. Nice hosts, close to the pub where you can eat. Near the shop. I recommend this place.

Excellent visit

Great location.

Great peaceful location and walkable into the centre and to the pier, perfect for exploring Eastbourne and the nearby area! Owners where super friendly and sorted our parking permits very quickly! The loft also had everything you could possibly need as well :) would definitely recommend!
