Bokmakierie Place

The location is great.

Firstly we could not find someone to book us in and when they eventually arrived they were totally confused. They argued about which room we should be in and we ended up in a basement room ( family room ) for the two of us. The room was not nearly similar to the nice picture we saw on the Booking.com site. No hairdryer, no lighting to assist with power outages and no electrical plugs to charge cell phones. The tap in the shower was also leaking and dripped right through the night.

Estate it is situated on and wild life around. Staff were helpful and friendly

TV in one bedroom did not work. The one bedroom had no aircon and access is through the garage. Coffee granules were dry and hard (old)

Reception by the staff and the security of the place. Great bathroom

1. Old mattress and bed making noise when turning 2. Use of communal fridge 3. Broken blinds and slept with window not covered. People from the swimming watched us sleeping.

The lady who runs the place is very old, can't serve the guests needs any more, needs to retire and hire new/young blood

The location is excellent, the property is spacious and meets the expectations of a large party I was with

1) At least 2 guest bathrooms were leaking water valves 2) the owner lurking around issuing instructions throughout the stay was distasteful and outright annoying 3) rude reception of my party, though I didn’t witness it myself I was informed right away on my arrival how they were rudely received 4) option to have the rooms cleaned was not presented and this meant rooms were unattended. There are no bins outside to keep the place clean, instead the owner instructed my party to pick up the litter before they leave.
