Casa Buganvilla

Appartement très bien placé pour visiter l'île. Très calme et reposant, nous avons bien profité de la terrasse très agréable. Inga est très gentille et disponible.

- bedroom, kitchen and toilet were nice, clean and big enough for staying even multiple days (we stayed 8 nights) - kitchen equipped with pans and basic equipment for cooking - although the room is in the same house as the owner we had our privacy and spaces (inside and outside) - parking available outside the house

- the kitchen is detached from the rest of the house. During our stay it rained often, so it was a bit uncomfortable to cross the patio with puddles to reach the kitchen - the shower was nice, but the drain was probably a bit clogged and the water was not flowing well away + a shelf to place soaps would be useful - the entrance gate lock is a bit defective

everything is old and unmaintained, the bed was lumpy and soft, pillows had seen better days, light switch is remote from the entrance door - luckily we had a torch, in the wardrobe is a bunch of loose wires ? no idea if they were live or anything but looked really odd, the shower tray is cracked and the sliding door didn't slide , the shower tap is piped backwards hot where cold should be and cold where hot should be that could be dangerous, the door to the bathroom didn't fit -too big for the hole, the toilet seat is cheapest possible and didn't fit and kept falling apart. No light in the kitchen, light was there but no switch and no hot water available at the sink. The list of facilities / equipment is somewhat a work of fiction, possibly one size fits all but more things were missing than were actually available.

The accommodation was nice, separate from the owners with nice kitchen area, the host family was friendly and kind, they agreed to a late check out due to our circumstances. Internet, hot water, facilities were good. Good value, nice neighborhood, nice restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

Cleaning once a week would be fine.

The host was very nice (she welcomed us with fruit and water) and the dog was so sweet :) I liked the terrace and the kitchen (which was very well-equipped). The room was ok as well. There was a swimming pool, but we didn't use it.

The bathroom was so-so - it would benefit from some repairs (e.g. the lights were only partially functional, and the door was hard to close).
