Der Inhaber ist ausserordentlich kundenorientiert. Das Wohl seiner Gäste ist ihm spürbar wichtiger als seine Einnahmen. Das wird vor allem damit veranschaulicht, ein wirklich sehr günstiges und feines Abendessen anzubieten. Viele Viersternehotels könnten sich bezüglich Service eine Scheibe abschneiden.

Ja, das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend für den Preis, und für wen, vorwiegend Fahrradtouristen, das Hotel da sein möchte. Bei schönem Wetter, auf der Terrasse, kommt man schnell mit anderen Gästen ins Gespräch. Was mir besonders gefallen hat: Auf dem Zimmer gab es einen kleinen Blumenstrauß aus dem Garten. Der Hotelier bereitet am Abend, sofern genügend Gäste gebucht haben, einen Braten oder grillt und stellt dazu ein Salatbuffet, das paßt alles sehr gut zum Stil des Hauses.

Der Duscharmatur in meinem Zimmer täte ein Update gut.
