Aqua Terra Boutique Guesthouse - Simon's Town, Cape Town

The location, the beach below and the infinity pool , the warm South African hospitality , the tasteful detail (eg bathroom products by a local artisan , good coffee , excellent breakfast by chef Peter ), and the all round experience .

Coral is a gorgeous room facing south but that means it gets a bit hot during the day- when the aircon works it should be fine .

The location was amazing Beautiful views from everywhere in the property including the room and bathrooms The host -Garth was incredible and helped with every little thing.

A serene, zen-like ambience has been created here by Garth and Natalie. If you are looking for quiet and comfortable surroundings that are still close to nature, including Penguins, the Cape and many beaches, I highly recommend Aqua Terra. Not to mention the wonderful breakfasts/brunches.

Beautiful views of the mountains behind and the ocean in front. We also received a friendly welcome by our host.

There were a few things that disappointed us. The coffee pouch for the French press was a single serving of coffee even though we were two guests, the water bottles provided were tiny (250ml), the basin was blocked when we arrived, and one of the blinds in the bedroom was broken, hanging down on one side and allowing morning light in. The TV also wasn't set up when we arrived. Although the accommodation is spacious, the bedroom and bathroom is crammed upstairs, with a massive lounge area (no kitchenette).

Amazing staff and room

Lovely host, and Peter looked after us, great breakfast, amazing views. Went to Boulders Beach saw the penguins, Cape Point is very near and well worth a visit. Golfers must play at Clovelly, 15 minutes away. Garth gave us a late check out , so we spent less time at the airport.
