Room and shower were good size and very clean and spacious.

We arrived on a Sunday evening after a tiring and very very long car journey. We chose this hotel specifically because it advertised a restaurant which was an essential feature for us. But when we we arrived on a Sunday evening after a tiring and very long journey we were told the restaurant was closed and the bar was closing at 8pm and nowhere else to eat nearby. So no food or drink for us at all that evening. We did not feel welcomed and we were rather rushed along into our room and it seemed clear the staff wanted to close up. The staff all then left. Next morning we came down for breakfast very hungry, understandably, and the waitress pointed to a table with a croissant on each plate and a cup of coffee nothing else. We stayed in 12 other hotels on this trip and this was the worst breakfast and welcome we have ever had. I have to say a disappointing overnight stay for us and I would not return.

I had an issue getting a car in the airport, which made me reach late, but the hotel was closed, and I couldn't go inside until 7AM. I was obliged to sleep in my car.

Situated in quiet village. Restaurant food was very good but expensive.

Room very dated and tired. The shower curtain rail was sagging in the middle and the hand towel rail not attached to the wall, could feel bed springs so very uncomfortable, also a hole in the wall above the bed. It needs a major refit. There were air fresheners which triggered off hayfever. We were only offered fruit, toast or bread for breakfast so was awful as the toast was almost inedible. Unfortunately not a good experience

The hotel is set at the top of a hill in a very quiet village. No English is spoken by the staff, but we didn't have any problems making ourselves understood. Our room was modern and bright, and the breakfast was plentiful. There are no other restaurants in the area, but dinner at the hotel was good.

They accept pets, the food and the wine is fantastic and the newly refurbished rooms are very good and comfortable

This is a lovely place to stop when traveling to Portugal for us with our dog. Restaurant was excellent and the staff very friendly and bi-lingual.

Better mattress on the bed it was not comporftable and very hard
