Cinco Filhas

A great stay in this price. We stayed for one night and it was almost perfect. Very near to airport, not in the city side of Vasco but in the other side near Bogmalo beach, which is almost like a village. We had an early morning walk in the nearby areas, which was calming and peaceful. Beach is a 5 minutes walk. There is a church just outside the guest house and a very good bakery/cafe attached to the guesthouse. The bakery is a must-try. The location will give you a taste of the beautiful quiet side of Goa. The room was big with all basic necessities, both room and bathroom were very clean.

Before actually reaching there, it was a bit difficult to contact the management. The owner does not attend to calls sometimes, and is not very responsive over whatsapp. At 6 in the morning the prayers from the church were aired in loud microphone, which not everyone may like. There were small ants in the bathroom sink and floor.

Appartment basic but very clean

Therer is a Church nextdoor to the property. Whilst I've no objection to people practicing their religion I don't really want it rammed down my throat at 6.30 am - the service, broadcast on loud speaker, and at times resembling Karaoke went on for about 1 hour
