Linda and Chris were amazing hosts. I loved and enjoyed every moment of my stay and I will return. I loved hearing all their incredible stories. Linda is an encyclopedia of the Lake District, so will give you all the information you need. Breakfast was fantastic and set me up for the day. I didn't need lunch.

The best thing about the property were the hosts - Linda and Chris. They were both very welcoming and wanted to ensure that we are comfortable.

I think the room size, and the illumination wasn’t great. Getting up the stairs with quite a bit of heavy luggage wasn’t easy - although the owners were ready to help. The en-suite was really tiny.

Comfortable and convenient for the centre. Delicious breakfast and Linda and Chris are friendly and helpful. I will return to this guesthouse if I make a return visit to the area.

Excellent location. Not far from the station. Quieter area only slightly outside of the commercial centre of town. Room included all key facilities, including a clean, comfortable bed, clean, functioning bathroom, and a TV.

Only two small things. 1) Perhaps after breakfast, the dining room could be used as a communal area, and 2) perhaps over time, a small desk could be included in the room

Hosts were absolutely fantastic, really welcoming, friendly, and knowledgable of the area which helped when I was looking for walks. Breakfast was really nice with a great selection of options.

Absolutely beautiful home and well kept by Chris and Linda. Such wonderful landlords. They made my stay feel so warm and welcoming and they are extremely down to earth and always wanting to have a conversation. The whole house was ornate and beautiful. Everything was spotless. Bed was very comfortable and room was the perfect size for a single room. Beautiful old house. Breakfast was lovely and tasty, all homemade food by Linda. China tea and coffee pots, cereal, fruit and an extensive simple menu was just perfect to start the day with. I will definitely be visiting next time.
