The place was warm and cosy. The food was prepared to a high standard and plenty of it. I arrived by motorcycle and the host was very accommodating for my vehicle offering off road parking. Excellent.

The location was ideal, only a few minutes walk from the main high street of windermere. I opted for breakfast when I booked, which was very homely and well made. My room was perfect when I arrived. Owners were very kind, knowledgeable of the area, and great conversationalists. I would stay here again, and recommend others to stay here too!

The staff Linda & Chris are very hospitable. They make me feel at home. The location is very convenient, 20mins walking distance to the Windermere train station.

The room is a little bit small, there's no much shared space for the guests.

Greeted by Linda and Glen (the boss) by name, shown to my room. One thing I often worry about is falling over in the shower, so I was so happy to see a shower mat and a board to stand on when getting out of the shower. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast was plentiful and made to order.

Greeted by aa lovely owner, whom went the extra mile to make my stay enjoyable. Clean and comfortable room.

Perfect breakfast! Best mushroom and toast I ever had.

Welcoming and helpful host. Good breakfast. Friendly local pub nearby with good meals.

Be careful about parking under trees in nearby streets because of aphid honeydew raining down.

I didn't take the brekie so no comment on that, the staff/the 2 owners were lovely, the place exceptionally clean and the room was perfect.

No such thing....comfy, clean place I may return to....
