Warm friendly welcome from the hosts. I felt completely at ease straight away. I loved how they made me feel so welcome straight away and helped me with a taxi as I was visiting Windermere for a wedding up the road in broad oaks county house. I loved how warm the welcome was and how they opened their door to their own room downstairs and always had time to chat!

I loved how clean it was and how there was everything I could possibly need in the one room.

Wir hatten zwei bis ins kleinste Detail liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer, welche jeden Tag frisch gereinigt wurden. Die Unterkunft ist wunderbar ruhig, der Bahnhof und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig schnell erreichbar. Herzlichen Dank an die Gastgeber!

The guest house is less than 5 mins walk from the high street and about 25 mins walk to Bowness Pier. Amazing Hosts, clean & spacious room.

Everything was perfect. Shame it's not possible to reserve a parking space in advance, but we managed to find a parking spot very close to the house.

The room in this picture is the one that we stayed in, which was excellent.

When we booked this guest house we assumed it was a bed and breakfast as we didn’t see room only on Booking.com website, I went into website and still couldn’t find note saying room only, you might say it didn’t say bed and breakfast which it didn’t but when paying £115 per night I would expect and full English breakfast. I really do think you should highlight on your website when a guest house is room only, as if highlighted we never would have booked it. Parking was an issue as they had no car park and you could only park on the street between 9am and 6 pm for 1 hour with no return within hour, Camilla told us we could park round the first corner but when we tried the top half of the road was the same and the bottom half was full of cars so couldn’t get parked. I now really will have to think hard about whether to use Booking.com again.

The owner was lovely and very helpful. It was in an excellent position and the room was lovely

Only issue was all the stairs to the top room
