D'Aria Guest Cottages

The cottages are very comfortable and have everything you need. Best part was the bottle of wine in our room and the free wine tasting at D'Aria.

Minor issue with the front door lock but the staff advised that they'll get it fixed.

The aircon was on on arrival and the place nice and warm!!!! lovely rusks

The location was great as always.

I am extremely disappointed with my most recent stay at D’aria’s Guest Cottages. I used to book these cottages regularly, sometimes up to three times a month, just to relax and escape for a while. Unfortunately, this last experience was absolutely not worth the money. I’m not sure if there is new management, but the level of service has changed drastically. The staff were very rude and unhelpful throughout our stay. The cottage allows up to four guests, yet my guest was not even allowed inside, which made no sense and was never properly explained to us. The listing on Booking.com also mentions a minibar, but there was none available. There was no wood provided for the barbecue either, and when we contacted the manager, Amandla, for assistance, she was extremely rude and unwilling to help. It honestly felt like customer service did not matter at all. To make things worse, the heaters in the cottage did not work, and the place was freezing cold. We eventually had to leave and go home with all the food we had brought along because the stay became so uncomfortable. I also wanted to settle a small outstanding amount from a previous stay, but Amandla refused to assist us, simply saying it was “too late.” The entire experience felt cold, dismissive, and unprofessional. Sadly, after being a regular customer for so long, I can honestly say I will never waste my money here again.
