Willow Tree Cottages

Lovely little haven in a pleasant village very handy for the A1. Sue was a friendly and helpful host. The pub next door was great for vegetarian food.

Nice location, friendly owners. Room was comfortable, clean with tea and coffee making facilities. Overall very impressed with Willow Tree Cottages.

Nothing really

A pleasant room with a very comfortable bed. The quiet location and fenced parking area were definite advantages. The cooked breakfast was one of the best I have ever had, and the owner was genial and helpful.

Breakfast cereal options comprised only Weetabix, Cornflakes and Alpen muesli. It would be nice if the range could be extended, at least to offering granola.

Beautiful place, Sue was very nice and helpful, food was delicious.

Breakfast was excellent. The location was great and just right for anyone looking for an overnight stop on the A1. And next to a lovely pub doing great evening meals.

WiFi is not brilliant but it isn’t anywhere in that area so not the fault of the owners

Excellent location, nice and quiet area with great scenery but in close proximity to nearby towns and amenities. Facilities were superb, rooms fantastic and a very welcoming host. Breakfast was outstanding.
