Je T'aime Porto Sweet Rooms

The location is right next to the metro and a super market. The room was nice, cozy and comfortable. There was a really nice shared space where you can cook and eat if you want.

Everything was fine.

El AC no echaba frío. Pero no dijimos nada porque era de madrugada cuando nos dimos cuenta y solo nos quedábamos una noche.

The room was very spacious and had everything I needed - it looked exactly as per the pictures and having the hidden small bathroom was also great. The insulated glass doors and windows were a god send, blocking out the road noise, and it was a nice touch having the double curtains, giving the option to let light in or fully block it out. The communal kitchen was very clean and it was wonderful having cold water available. Evelyn who greeted me when I arrived was also super friendly and welcoming.

Being in Gia, and up the hill, made it a bit fatiguing to walk into Porto everyday (about 30 mins). In saying that, the metro was very close by and super easy to jump on, getting you to the centre of Porto very quickly. While the glass doors did a great job at dulling the road noise, they don't completely block it - while it didn't bother me, it might annoy anyone who is a light sleeper. You can also hear other loud / drunk guests when they enter their rooms late at night, the walls are somewhat thin. Also, the bathroom has no door - as a solo traveller it wasn't an issue for me.

Excellent localisation. The supermarket is right in front of the facility, and the Overground station is nearby. There are plenty of restaurants just around the corner. The staff, the two girls who work in housekeeping at the facility, work very hard to keep everything running smoothly.

The pavement produces too much noise. This is especially noticeable during busy nights when guests arrive and depart.
